The Lenovo ThinkPad L590 is the 15.5-inch sibling of the L490 — same value ThinkPad positioning, same i5-8365U platform, but with the bigger working surface buyers in multi-window roles tend to prefer. It's the right L-series ThinkPad to choose when a 14-inch screen feels too small for the daily workflow.
When the 15-inch makes the real difference

The L590 gives that screen real estate in a chassis built to the same ThinkPad standard as the smaller L490, with the same keyboard quality and serviceability.
