The Toshiba Portege Z20T-C is a refurbished 12.5-inch ultraportable detachable from Toshiba's Portege line, built around the Intel Core m5-6Y54 — a fanless dual-core processor designed for thin, silent operation. The Z20T-C separates fully into tablet and keyboard halves, giving you a genuinely lightweight Windows tablet experience with a real magnetic keyboard for typing.
The fanless detachable
The m5-6Y54 is a Core M-series chip, which means the laptop has no fan and produces no noise even under sustained load. That makes the Z20T-C suited to environments where silent operation matters — meeting rooms, libraries, recording studios, clinical settings. The processor is older and not built for heavy multitasking, but for the writing, browsing, document-reviewing, and reading workloads detachables are typically used for, it's perfectly serviceable. The Z20T-C ships with 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of RAM, and storage options from 256 GB SSD up to 2 TB SSD. Cosmetic grades are offered as Excellent and Good. Keyboard layouts in DE, BE, NL, UK, FR, IT, ES, PT, SE, DK and other common European layouts are available on request — important since the keyboard is a discrete component.
