The Lenovo ThinkPad E595 is the older sibling of the E15 Gen 3 — same E-series entry-level positioning, same 15.5-inch form factor, but with the earlier AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor. This is the right choice for buyers who want the AMD ThinkPad experience at the lowest entry price.
What the Ryzen 5 3500U brings
The 3500U was AMD's mainstream U-series mobile chip from a couple of generations back — four cores, eight threads, paired with a Vega integrated GPU that handles light graphics work meaningfully better than the Intel integrated graphics of the same era. For office workloads, browser tabs, video meetings and standard document work it remains a perfectly capable platform, and the price point is one of the lowest in our ThinkPad catalogue. The 15.5-inch screen gives the usual benefits of a larger laptop — multi-window comfort, no need to squint at long spreadsheets.
