Built around the six-core Intel Core i7-10610U, it's a thinner and lighter take on the mobile workstation idea than Lenovo's larger P-series machines — designed for users who need real CPU power but don't want to carry a desktop replacement.
What a P-series ThinkPad gives you
The ThinkPad P-series is Lenovo's mobile workstation line, certified for professional ISV applications and engineered around components capable of sustained heavy load. The P15s specifically sits at the lighter, thinner end of the line — a P-series that travels better than a P15 or P17, while still bringing six-core processing and the higher-capacity memory configurations workstation users expect. The result is a laptop appropriate for CAD, BIM, larger data analysis, parallel containers and similar workloads, without the bag-killing weight.
