The Dell Latitude 5420 is the 11th-generation Intel refresh of Dell's enterprise daily-driver line, now with a 14-inch display and the Intel Core i5-1145G7. The 1145G7 is part of Intel's Tiger Lake vPro generation, which means real performance gains in everyday office workloads alongside the manageability features corporate IT teams expect.
An enterprise laptop, but newer where it matters
The 5420 moved the Latitude line forward in two ways that buyers actually feel. First, the 11th-gen i5 gives a tangibly faster everyday experience — web apps, Teams calls and document switching all feel quicker than on a 10th-gen Latitude. Second, the 14-inch display gives a little more usable screen real estate than 13.3 or 13.9-inch siblings, which adds up over long days of multi-window work.
